Celebration Quotation – January 8. 2016

Today’s quote comes from Much Ado About Nothing.  The image is a drawing of Dame Ellen Terry (1848-1928), one of Britain’s most celebrated Shakespearean actresses.

Terry began acting as a child, and her career spanned nearly seven decades.  She once remarked:

“Wonderful women! Have you ever thought how much we all, and women especially, owe to Shakespeare for his vindication of women in these fearless, high-spirited, resolute and intelligent heroines?”
