Celebration Quotation – March 23, 2016
Today’s quote is from Measure for Measure:
The image is an engaging of a work by painter Henry Fuseli (1785-1825). He was born in Switzerland, but eventually ended up spending much of his life in England. The works of Shakespeare and Milton were frequent subject matter for his paintings. Fuseli was a Professor of Painting at the Royal Academy of Art – his style influenced a number of younger artists of his day, including John Constable and William Blake. You can see more of his work here at the ArtUk website.
